A quick video from BM2014

A quick clip of the Venus Raver Trap at Burning Man 2014.  Inset video is what the controller sees.  Matt was in control and hadn’t slept for days – so it’s not as lively as usual.  When Lummox is controlling it, it’s a lot more animated than this : )

What we see

raver trap - 27

Three live video feeds (<100ms latency) of the front, back, and fisheye overhead view.   The telemetry data gives us signal of the controller and chair, battery voltages, motor current draw, enclosure and motor temperatures, as well as GPS speed/heading.   A constantly updating latency readout gives us an idea of how far we can push it.   Also a text-to-speech input box.
